Fiver! I've seen a few of those around lately but all for serious money. Nice

I'm trying and failing. Want a Contax D but will have to settle for a Pentacon FM instead.

Started tearing into the EM. Glue everywhere and the thing that actuates the shutter blades seems sticky.

I don't really want to but I think I'm going to have to remove and split the Yashica Mat shutter. I've tried flushing it but it keeps gumming up again. If it's going to be done properly, either that or get the shutter off, remove the glass and soak the whole lot. I think option one will be better in the long run.

I've been working on the Bessa, it has a Compur Rapid shutter, so really all you need is one not-very-small screwdriver. Al fine but now it's back together it's sticking at slow speeds. Might be the adjustment of the escapement, the hairspring tension, or that it hasn't got enough oil. Will have to have another look tomorrow. Also looked at the other Contessamat, the flash sync isn't firing, wire is connected to the hot shoe. Lenses need a clean but otherwise it works. Grrr.

There are so many versions of the Bessa it's hard to keep up. I've got the lens board off the EM, luckily it was only four screws and lift it off. Just need to get the shutter off and cleaned up. I could do with making a 6x6 ground glass to check the focus. If I got the glass from a photo frame, how could I etch one side?
