The mixed recycling wheely bin is out front of Trev Towers as we speak - it was flippin heavy when I rolled it out there last night! Five of us here over Chrimbo week and the wine rack has taken quite a battering so not surprising. I'm looking forward to getting back to the gym now my cold has all but gone and cutting way back on the food and drink again.

Don't make the mistake of controlling alcohol by total abstinence, that would be a shame, but you are of course right to recognise the start of what you consider to be a problem and dealing with it.

Family and friends starting to arrive for the evening. So I'm a happy man. No doubt I'll pay for it tomorrow.
Happy new year folks.

They must be getting sentimental, the oldest daughter has just said that the youngest laddie is "lovely and adorable", there must be something in the water.

Well we survived the rubbish TV scheduling of last night and the never ending fireworks at midnight. Time to think about that resolution of being a bit more active this year. Been a bit of a hermit over the last few weeks and I feel sluggish as a result so as it's a nice day I'm off to find a few caches shortly.

Anyone else got any resulotions to share? Daft or sensible??

Is the active members list currently showing at the bottom of the main forum page an indication of those people who succeeded in not overdoing it last night?

Evening all. Finding it hard to get going again now. The best part of two weeks have been taken up with stuff outside of the normal day to day stuff and even my sense of what day of the week it is has gone c0ckeyed.

Haha, I wish I'd have followed your example....instead I was up until 5am partying at home with friends, I eventually got up at 3pm to eat...and am in bed again now, still with a hangover, looking forward to tomorrow at work...

Next year I'll book the 2nd off work too haha, as I'll never learn
