So i've spoken to permabond today and foubd a suitable adhesive for this application. Just otdered some ao should be good to go ahead once its bonded.

Mike - you asked if the magnets were next to each other, were you thinking of suggesting i go to 3 magnets?

Not you going to 3 magnets, but if there was someone else who wanted 3 magnets then swapping the flywheels so you got their 6 magnet and we could make yours a 3 magnet and pass it on...
