Yes, honestly i was slightly disappointed, i dont think it brings anything new to the table. When you have a whisky as good as talisker why change it.

If however you find Talisker a bit too much then Old Pultney is a much subtler option whilst providing many of the same key tastes. imagine a whisky soaked spicy bounty bar amd you're not far off.

Ah! Thanks, talisker is 'ok' tho im still head over heels for the Blackadder Smoking Islay these days, found a nice constant supply of it too!

Oooooooo yesssss

It's a Vatted Malt (Common thought it's based on Laphroaig), VERY smoky, Very peaty (such flavour) and comes in at a lovley 55% volume - still drinkable neat but benefits from a teeny drop of water (literaly a thimblefull).

Yup, not a bad drop but i'm no expert.

Mate of mine gave me some at the end of a good session and wasn't wow'd. I went round a few days later and had a sip. V nice.

Nice Highland malt Bibio, distillery is in Pitlochry, no such thing as a bad 10yr old single malt mind you!
