Default 2nd/3rd wires

Hi all, I have found an article about snipping the wires that come from the gear selector to give a slight ignition retard in second and third gears, is this true of the k3 and onward models or is it just on the curvy , and if so is it worth doing and where can the best place to do the snipping be found?

You need to do a search for the Timing Retard Eliminator mate. It is a different method on k3 onwards. Study and research carefully before deciding to do it as there are mixed opinions as to the benefits. This has been well covered on the site though.
