Needed one speedo sensor sv650 K3

On my way to the garage to get my bike serviced, the speedo packs up. So get to the garage and ask them to have a look at it. A couple of hours later I return, and the first thing they ask me is, Have i had the front wheel out? Well about three weeks ago had a new tyre and it turns out that when they put the wheel back in they crushed the front wheel speedo sensor, and its taken until today to go. So my question is, Has anyone got a speedo sensor for sale? as it will cost £102 to get a new one.

What model and year?
You probably only need the rotor which costs about £15 from Suzuki from memory.

As said above you maby only need the rotor whice isnt very much new from suzuki but make sure you get a K3 one as the newer ones i think are different as thers more prongs on them so you will get a dodgy reading.

I've got the full assembly but the cable is cut so you'd have to puddin' joint it

Chhers all, have had a closer inspection turns out it is just the rotor thats gone, three of the four prongs have snapped. Like you say cost less than £20 so not as bad as it could have being.

think ther about £17 quid from suzuki and as said aboce make sure you get the rite one as the newer ones i think have more prongs so you will get a bad reading on the speedo.
