Got water balloon attacked whilst on bike

So today was my first day back on two wheel after my off a few months back.

Riding behind a double decker bus in lane 2 (lane 1 closed and fenced for road works or something). Traffic was semi stationary due to a bottle neck cos of the lane closure. Then I see water droplets falling from the sky. Looked up at the bus thought someone threw a drink out or something.

Then I got a little splash on bikes left, so looked to the pavement behind the road works to see 6/7 little hoodlums (12-15 yrs old max) lobbing water balloons at vehicles as they pass by. They tried to lob another one at me and missed, and as they lined up the third I was able to slip past the bus and move off.

Good to see kids are using their afternoons wisely. I just hope it was water and not something a bit yellower.

Amusing... not so amusing if it hit a moving biker

Could be worse, they lob rocks at you round here.
Carnivore took the route down Beirut on the way to work last year, little feckers thought it was amusing to stone him. Not amused when he got to work I can tell ya.
