Default New Bike - Yamaha MT-09

As I’m about to be SV-less I’ve picked up this 2014 MT-09.

Really like it. Nice comfy riding position - I’m permanently retired from clip-ons now.

More a fun bike than terribly practical but should suit me.

Totally standard and I’m going to TRY and leave it that way. For a bit.

Nice, welcome to the club

It's different, but still the same

And another one.
A little bit different but pretty much the same.
I've done nothing to this apart from crash bungs and mirror extenders. Love the engine and the torque but the suspension, despite attempts at adjustment, is still on the firm side for me.

You have to change the colour of the wheels, they don't do it for me I'm afraid

Otherwise, its a nice lump

Some of Yamaha's newer colours are very odd. The new Tracer GT in that undercoat grey. Makes it look very plastic which I can't imagine is the impression they want to give on their high spec model. Nice bikes, but I'm not sure where their colour choices are coming from. Maybe I'm getting old but the flouro models were really horrible.

That reminds me, I have ordered mirror extenders but that is pretty necessary. The view is 60% elbow at the moment.

And I love the wheel colour...Racing Blu
