Smile The Christmas Thread...with poll.

Jingle bells, our Mod smells and speedplay is ghey

Christmas is coming. I'll step up and organise our annual bash.

I can recomend some decent places to eat near me in Norfolk. Good places up on the coast or there's the Chequers at Wimbotsham....where they have the Fenman show. Bike friendly and good food.....bit local though. We've got some good cheap all you can eat Chinese buffets in King's Lynn..all you can eat for under £6....not christmassy but decent grub.

If we want something more central perhaps we could meet at Norwich, Cambridge or Peterborough.

Suggestions please.

I can't do the 18th of December weekend other than that I'm free.

I shall probably drive and bring Mrs Baddad.

Voted for 11th and 12th as the mini-me's are at their dads, but if it needs to be the previous weekend im sure i can sort a babysitter.

We need to find somewhere central, I think Peterborough is a no-go as its too far for the 'eastern lot' to travel, besides which its crap!!

Are you thinking of a lunchtime or evening do? Be good if everyone could try and bring their OH's, if its sunday evening Jeff probably wont be able to make it, so that get the thumbs-up from me!!! (only joking hun )

Cambridge is a great place to visit at Christmas. If we did Saturday 11th Mrs Baddad could take me shopping yay!

Not too far for Smeggons or Mr Spires.

Another thing, what sort of food and budget are we looking at. A quick search of places in Cambridge serving a 3 coarse Christmas lunch is about £25-30.

We could do pub grub or for the bat fastard's, that's me an all you can eat jobby.

I can't commit to a particular date yet but I'd be up for it. If the children can be looked after Mrs. Svrich could come too. The actual food doesn't matter to me but I'd appreciate trying to keep the cost down. Maybe a carvery?

Same one I was with last time.

Is Cambridge ok with you Skip. I'm aware that the Crimble do's have been a bit of a trek for you.

Yeah no problem - as long as I can get a pass out Cambridge is an hour from me (I visit Great Shelford and Histon regularly).
