Hugger without the chain guard built in???

Ive got a 2003 pointy sv650

I want a hugger but all the ones ive found have chain guards built in, i personally dont like the look of the built in chain guard its all curvy.

Does anybody know of a hugger that does not have a built in chain guard, or a hugger that will fit form maybe a different bike without a built in chain guard.

There are a couple of huggers on ebay from the unfaired version. They don't have a chain guard. Not sure about the fixings but might be worth a try?

the only ones i have seen have the guard built in.

I have been looking for something like the OP for a while now, and am tempted to try to install a one from a sports bike (eg Gixxer or CBR) and bolt it down on the one point on the swing arm.

I suspect it may interfere with the tool box, but in the absence of an official alternative, and me not wanting to cut the chain guard off another one, I think this might be worth a go.

I will be having a look at some of the bikes parked up at the racing this weekend to see what styles might be suitable for my "plan".
