Default Who else has trashed there baby this year

My bike is in the garage with the front end off.
I had an off well not really an off more of an up and away, I crushed three virtibrae and put a whole in my ankle after a car cut across me.
I'm well on the mend now but it's been three months bikeless.
The insurance are still dragging there heals, I've got £2000 put away for a second hand bike I was waiting for the insurance so i could get a nice GS1200R Adventure but I can't wait much longer.

Yep, no injuries though. The rear end of a new R1200GSA was trashed a couple of months ago when the FD separated at the knuckle... at about 90kph. It made for a few interesting moments. Some might be laughing, but the big pig is 22kg over the manufacturers GVM without the hitch load which adds another 47kg and spends a lot of time off road. Needless to say that this is not a warranty claim.
For now I am back on the old bike which is heavier again, but has gone half way around the clock without a sniff of trouble in that area.

I have, old guy cut me up because he didn't look backwards. I got away with a bruised hip, but, I had to replace my front end, so, I went whole hearted. New forks, clip-ons, front fairing, rear light, tail tidy, re-painted fairing, grips, callipers, brake pads, braided lines and tyres
