Twmpath is the Welsh word for ceilidh or barn dance, so yes, pretty much spot on there Sir Trev. 10 house points to Hufflepuff and sit at the top of the class.

Yes, it was pretty good thanks. We were playing for the wedding of the son of two of the members of our local Welsh folk dance side, for whom I also play.

Nice, took my youngest daughter away with her friend to North Norfolk, kept her happy as it was something SHE wanted to do.

Its strange, as there won't be many more of these types of holidays, she's getting to the age when going to the seaside and funfairs isn't what she wants to do.

Just sipping a G&T now

Know what you mean there Mav. My girls are just turned 16 now and this is the direction I suspect we'll move in. I'm lucky though as they are well into motorcycling and are making plans for some fairly serious rides with me, especially after next year when they hope to have their own bikes.

At least I know my youngest prefers doing stuff with me, maybe its because I'm a soft touch

I just need her to like cycling up mountains, although it has crossed my mind to take her out on the Sv, that's your fault Gary

Nice ride out in the sensible temperatures yesterday and as I was passing I stopped in at the stealers - Hugh is now booked in for his 1st year service but they have no workshop slots free for seven weeks! Managed to persuade Lady Poppy we need a new matress as it's been goodness knows how many years since we last replaced it. And once it started raining today I abandoned the gardening and ironed all my shirts for the week ahead. All go at Trev Towers...

Evening, I wish Dixon of dock green was still on. Better than some of the trash they put out
