Anyone had any experiences with Ashadegreener?

I have them coming out in a couple of weeks for a survey, everything is FREE, installation, panels etc.

I save on electricity bills and they benefit from any that's unused and make profits from that.

Just wondered if anyone has had bad experiences etc.

Basically they lease your roof for 25 years.

how does it work if you decide to sell up and move .The potential new owner might not like the idea

I had a flyer through as well saying they want to rent my roof, guess not many people have done it yet though?

The juicy bit, the part that they want, is the Feed in Tariff for which they now get 45.5p per kWh that you generate regardless of whether you use it or not.

there is plenty of free leccy to be had though as you mention. Obviously depends on the size of the installation you get and how much you consume, and whether you have a smart meter or not.

My elec meter reading today reads the same as it did at the first week in April. I havent bought a single unit from the grid since then.

Its a lease tied to the property, so any purchaser has to accept the agreement or buy them out of the lease. Its not supposed to affect anyone obtaining a mortgage.
The new owner cannot remove them so it could be perceived as an asset or a liability depending on a future purchasers point of view.
I certainly wouldn't rent my roof out just for 37% reduction in my eleccy bill, a couple of hundred pounds a year.

no, I have a conventional elec meter that goes backwards if the panels generate when I dont consume. Nett effect is zero, doesnt matter that I generate in the day and consume in the evening.

We fit solar panels at work....not me, but another department. I`ve been looking into it and asking the tech guy about whats best and cost effective....MOST important thing is DON`T go for one of these free fit things. It`s estimated that a system you pay say £10000 for, will pay for its self in aprox 5yrs, at the 45.5p per unit rate...tho this will drop down to about half this figure if the government have there way....but you can get a bank loan...the system then pays off the loan for you....and after that...the money is yours.
There will be drawbacks for things like roof maintenance and the solar panels degrading or the invertor failing. Hope this helps any body
