A lot of birds will follow grazing animals around and wait for them to disturb insects, which the birds then gobble up - Robins have learnt that humans are good for a feed and also disturb insects and grubs in the garden - I used to be flattered by attention from Robins until I realised they thought I was related to a cow LOL

Our day of darkness has arrived.

Solar eclipse to begin in about an hour.
Clear skies and about 95% coverage of the sun from where I am.

Getting home from a not so great holiday.

English tea and catching up on tv, you might think ours is bad, but some of it is really good

All I need now is a couple of good night's sleep to make up for the poor nights I had on holiday.

But it's good to be home
