Amsterdam - Recommended things to do??.
Anyone been recently??..im going on friday with the mrs...
I went about 10 yrs ago...but was a stoner then and sort of done nothing!"! we dont smoke weed and sort of want to experience the cultural side of things... we're only there for 3 nights. nights ...im thinking 1 night a nice restuarant, 1 night clubbing/see a live sex show and 1 night just a walk round, some food..few bars etc.... days.... i wanna do a tour round the city by boat..not the big commercial ones as they cant get down all the little side routes etc but there is a little boat i know of thats highly recommended... also want to visit the sex museum and possibly the amsterdam dungeons... anyone got anything specific to recommend?? |

The Sex museum cost us 3euro each last May and was a great laugh.
The Anne Frank House is worth a visit too. |

Boat tour is hop-on-hop-off so handy. Don't waste your money on tram passes, you can walk everywhere. See the red light district at night, it's perfectly safe and not that tacky if you stay outdoors. If you want a fancy meal check out Pasta e Basta with the singing staff, they're pretty good if you're into that sort of thing. Jimmy Woo's is the hottest club in the world, if you can get in. If you really want to se the seedy side, find the Banana Bar, I think that's its real name...
