Reasonable? What planet are you on? From whose point of view are you coming from?

Anything more than 80 - expect to get prosecuted. You're naive if you think otherwise.

Less than 80, and you've got a leg to stand on.

We have this argument every time someone get's pulled for speeding. If you were speeding accept it - it was only a matter of time. It is black and white - nothing to do with "reasonable".

Its possable you will get a ban, someone on this forum was cought at the same speed but his ban was only 2 weeks and a fine + points. So its possable if you make a good case and that they have not also done you for any other things like overtaking without indicating etc.., that you will get off lightly.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Doing over 100mph DOES NOT qualify as an automatic ban.

I should know, caught doing 116 and with 131 peak, all on video.

6 points, £400 fine. I went to court and defended my own case.....

I've talked about this on a previous post on here and got slated for "not knowing what i was talking about"

Till i proved them wrong, people mysteriously never replied after that.... Strange isn't it ....

PS, i love all the haters and the quick whingers on here.

Yeah, because none of you have ever sped at all you do make me laugh....

Its not the speeding thats the problem, its the getting caught.... Just got to be more weary of whats behined you next time im afraid.

Oh dear.............James, old chap, you need to get some legal advice when the summons arrives, as it surely will at that average speed.

I'm not going to judge you, it's your life, your bike, your licence, etc and your big enough to face the consequences.

Can't help thinking that those having a sanctimonious attidude with regard to your situation will themselves break a speed limit from time to time.

Just my view.

it won't be the speed / fine / points / ban that bother you, it'll be the insurance quotes next year

I was going to ask which Sister of Charity (obviously the most charitable! )......

Yes, a Flamed Meat & Road Rash (unless the cream works) Ride Out. Sounds great
