Neighbours who say they're going to trim the top of THEIR hedge but make such a mess of it that I end up spending ALL my precious afternoon levelling it for them. It doesn't help when the twit buys the cheapest and shortest of electric trimmers ever - he may as well have used scissors while blindfolded.

I doubt it would make his head explode because the regs are aimed at the temperature of stored water not the temperature of the water at the outlets which would be controlled by thermostatic mixing valves. Otherwise pretty much every hospital, nursing home and school in the country would be contravening those regs.

I know what the regs say.
I've found health and safety officers don't normally understand it and try and over complicate it

sent with all the fury of a clogged drain!!

And for me. The shops have their sweet tins in already. Not a humbug but it's only September!

Might not go this year due to all the hassle at Calais. Bit gutted but maybe next year. Good start would be Aachen.

We're thinking of going to the one in Bremen or Hanover, and fly from Stanstead. Colonge is another easy flight.

if you want to avoid Calais, then go Dover - Dunkerque, there's no hassle on that route.

Or closer to home Bury St Edmunds has one
