Default Removing rear fender

Has anyone here taken off the rear fender from their SV? I had one a couple of years ago, and my hubby got the rear fender off, and the bike looked MUCH better.

Well, I just got an 08 SV last Saturday, and I want that ugly rear fender off again. Does anyone know an easy way to do this, and how about turn signals?

This is a crappy pic, but you can see the look. (and it was FREEZING cold that day. I had tons of layers on and look so fat! )

well? any ideas?

Most good bike parts shops will supply a 'tail tidy', aftermarket indicators etc to allow you to do this. A rear undertray finishes the job nicely too if you dont fancy cutting the original.
