Huge Relief - SV650.org

Just had the coppers round to talk to me about the accident.

The report indicates that no one driver is to blame, and that the accident was not head on. This led onto the copper telling me that I will NOT be prosecuted!

This will have the effect that I wont have to fight (as much) to get compensation.

This has come as a huge relief and has proven to myself that what i thought happened upto the accident actually did happen, and I wasn't twisting things to make it easier to cope with.

The copper was vrey good in the fact he hsa also said that he will try to get me a copy of the police report and a few photos of the bike, so I can finally send her off

I will definately try mate - no question about that. Who wants to have a machine stapped to their knee, with one of these reflex hammer thingies attached so that they can constantly kick the insurance companies up the **** for me?

Thank f'k for that. I am so happy that you have not been put to blame for this. After your last report it did not look good for you at all. I guess it WAS the third party trying to get in there whilst you were down and out then?

Yep, his statement to his solicitors is that it was all my fault etc etc. He fails to mention that the police arrested him and interviewed him under cautioN!!!
It also states that the solicitors will not be asking for a police report as it was solely my fault.

I wont tell you what my solicitors said to that
