Rusty wheels!!
All of a sudden my discs have started to rust on my wheels.
Anyway I can get rid of the rust and shine them up without causing problems with the breaks etc?? |

Re: Rusty wheels!!
Leave it. It's fine. Your disks can rust over in one night. Next time you go for a ride your brakes will take that off in no time at all.

or if its on bits that you dont think will get removed by the pads, a light rubbing with some wire woll will remove it.

Re: Rusty wheels!!
I've always found that those green scouring pads for cleaning pans do a great job of shining up discs. They tend not to scratch either which is a bonus.
