Dr Who - Don't look if you haven't watched it yet.
After all that build up and the enjoyable Mars episode what a load of rubbish.
I've not felt bored watching Dr Who for a long time, watching it the other night it was a complete disappointment. |

I enjoyed it but yeah, they didnt need to drag it out with all the farewells at the end, and its not in line with the usual regeneration 'protocol', the dr's have never had that kind of time lapse before regeneration. That said, i still had a little blub!!

Oh I don't know, I enjoyed it.
Generaly the Doctor's been shot, stabbed or similar, this death potentially gave him the time to have a wander, and why not after a few years at the helm? I've genuinely enjoyed Dr Who since it's resurrection, though I catch it sporadically so miss plenty of plot pointers. I look forward to meeting the new doc. Jambo

Re: Dr Who - Don't look if you haven't watched it yet.
I have enjoyed the other episodes, but even with the extra long good-bye I found it rather dull. The story with the master, time-lords and such I just found frightfully dull and rather a let down after what had been a rather excellent run.
But I will still watch the new series with a keen interest as I haven't a gushy 'I love David Tennant' cloud me my view. Last edited by Grinch; 04-01-10 at 01:24 PM. |

Godawful load of self-important, toe curling embarassingly self-indulgent twaddle.
20mins of story padded out to - what 2hrs?. Not knocking the story really. There were some good ideas - but rather than story we got vagually pointless sentimentality - & everyone but the dancing bear on to wave their goodbye. Dire. Oh & nobody expects the spanish inquisistion. |
