Default 'Virtual bike' improves safety

Surely real road test & study is the way forward?

And they completely miss the point that a tilting simulator for a bike is totally different to a real one.

Try "hang-off" your bike on the sidestand and it's loads harder than doing it round a corner because there's no acceleration pushing you into the bike.

Also on a simulator I know it'd have no reflection on actual behaviour on the road, there's no fear when you can just press "reset"

Would have been far cheaper and more effective to buy 10 helmet cams and say "go play"

Laugh? I nearly shat my kecks!

...initiating lean at the frame. That's real world science, right up there with Boswellox. And as for gyroscopic forces, well, you don't need to consider that do you?

Pity the Japanese beat them to it!

I had a go at an earlier version of this at the NEC bike show a few years ago. It was totally unrealistic, and I had a crash cos you can't get a feel for how fast you are going. Big waste of time if you ask me.
