Locked the front end on a coke can!
Pulling out of a slow junction at the weekend into slow traff. Pulling up behind a car on a slight right-hand bend my front wheel shifted about 2ft to the left without warning. SCARY! I let go of brakes and stuck my legs out in panic, and slowly came to an embarrassing halt without offing it or hitting anything else which was a mirracle. I looked down and my front wheel had locked up on a flat coke can and caused me to slide like skiis.
I've had plenty of high and low speed scary moments but this one is way up there on the "Scare the sh!t out of you" list.
