A 10k run for eldest daughter and me this morning, couple of laps of the track at Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands. No strava data though, I left my phone in the car as no pockets on me today.

Chip time of 1:06:54 for me and 53:29 for the daughter, her Garmin tracker is playing up today as well

I'm happy with my time, I was aiming for under 1:10

Excellent, good running DD and daughter!

Heading out for a gentle run tomorrow morning to see how my back is. First time out for nearly a week. The ironic thing is that the back pain started last Tuesday when I bent over badly to do up my running shoes!

Hooray, made it out for a short run around my local loop this morning and my back seems to be ok. Time to get some miles in this week then in prep for 2 very hilly ten mile days this coming weekend and a mountainous 20 miler (and a ride on a steam train!) the following Saturday.

Here's the Relive video.

My wife completed the London to Brighton challenge run on Saturday - taking 18 hours, 36 minutes. I was supporting, but had just enough time to get in Nonsuch parkrun, which was on the route. Quite amazingly, we crossed paths while running and both stopped for a selfie

Blimey 18 and a half hours is a serious amount of time to be running. Well done to your wife for doing it.

Out this morning for a drizzly but enjoyable 7.8 miles. Just starting to build the distances now in prep for the next couple of weekends. I've got a 12 miler in mind for either tomorrow evening or Friday morning.

Here's the Relive vid of the run

The first day of our weekend of running as a joint social event organised by Canicross Clwyd and Canicross Powys. Around 13 miles in the hills above Llangollen. A great day!

I'm leading a 10 mile social run on the trails around here tomorrow morning for our second day.

I'll post all the pictures up when the weekend's activities are over.

The Relive video is here too.

How about we set up a monthly running challenge, say 20km a week. Anyone up for the idea?
