Re: NR750 and RC30 - Fresh out the crate
Sorry old boy, just run out of the stuff I disappear for a few hours to get stuck into some mechanical nightmare. Only to return to find that you lot have been posting more porno pictures! I'll have to get a picture of my new lathe on. At over a ton in weight she's HEAVYWEIGHT PORN! Cheers. P.S. Which transfer gears train is that Druid? |

Re: NR750 and RC30 - Fresh out the crate
Yea, I love the NR, just because its something different and special. Its from a time when Honda thought with its heart and balls (Pretty much ended imo when the VTR stopped racing) as oppose to its head and wallet like it seems to atm.

Re: NR750 and RC30 - Fresh out the crate
Not quite sure, Can't remember where I picked up the picture from.
For those that don't know your V4 honda's its a 2 gear set of transfer gears with alloy holders (standard are 3 with pressed steel), ie reverse camshafts, rare as rocking horse poo! I do hope you are ready for this next one though..... Druid

Re: NR750 and RC30 - Fresh out the crate
Me neither mate, that's why I'm here this morning to spanner more rolling dog turds Quote:
It does make one wonder why Honda didn't use a two gear train as standard though. A couple of years ago I did a lot of head work on an R1 track bike. The customer had bought just about every trick bit available. Vernier camshaft sprockets, & big bang camshafts etc. They just looked too nice to put in an engine & cover them with oil I do hope you are ready for this next one though..... Now you're just showing off old Boy! You're making me want to post pictures of all my 'tool porn' just so I can say 'mines bigger than yours'!! Last edited by Spanner Man; 16-04-10 at 06:41 AM. |
