Lathe Operator
Ok folks do any of you know someone in the central Scotland area that has skills with a lathe?
I have a paddock stand adaptor that needs a few millimetres taken off it so I can use it on the bike. Any advice or dirrections would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Lathe Operator
Dammit, me too now
I tend to use the bench grinder for this kind of job. I can simultaneously make stuff smaller AND significantly less round. If that doesn't appeal, do you know what size pin you need as I have a few, some of which are spares. |

Re: Lathe Operator
This thread makes me feel guilty. Got my old man's Myford lathe sat in a mates garage and hasn't turned in anger for some years now. Just no space for it here in the 'shed of broken dreams', sorry Dean.
