Re: A9 Cameras
What's the score, are they all forward facing?

Re: A9 Cameras
It's claimed they can catch a motorcycle, but as far as I can see, they're forwards only.

Re: A9 Cameras
I thought they only looked like forward facing ones.

Re: A9 Cameras
I wouldn't have thought it would be that difficult for the cameras on the other side on the single carriageway sections road to get your registration number.

Re: A9 Cameras
it does my nut in that they've done this in the name of road safety. SPEND THE MONEY AND MAKE IT DUAL CARRIAGEWAY! should have spent the money that was wasted on the tram folly in Edinburgh on improving that road.

Re: A9 Cameras
I reckon the cameras will remain even after all the upgrade work is complete.

Re: A9 Cameras
revenue collector nothing more nothing less.
from what i know they are all linked for the whole stretch so when you get tagged on the first cam you have till the last cam as your average speed unlike the others which were 'gate' logged. i haven't been up the A9 for over a year and dont intend to ever use it again. |

Re: A9 Cameras
Plenty places for people to go woosh by mistake and then sit it out before they hit the next camera that works out the average. Ive hated the a9 all the time tbh.
