tried a ducati monster today, wow!!
Ive had the past 2 afternoons free, so at a loose end thought Id try a different bike each day, yesterday was a new er6n, but today was an `08 monster 698 (well 6 something anyay )
Cant get over how much fun the ducati was, it didnt like 30 ish through town, but out of town, wow!!!!!! Could be so tempted, although with my commuting Id probably ruin it. As for the er6, bland, slow but comfy, rides well enough and soaks up the bumps, but not lively enough for me. Lee |

I like the Monster. A guy in my pit at Brands a few years ago had a S4R in blue and white. He was a fast inter and it did shift.

Isn't Ducati owned by BMW now?

All bikes are definitely not created equal. I've worked on and owned enough nails to know that. Ducati have earned a reputation, maybe it's not as bad as it was, but I would be pretty surprised if you could make a good comparison to modern Japanese bikes.

Complete nooby here so correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most Ducati issues of an electrical nature?
