Default To SORN or not to SORN...

... That is the question.

Road tax about to expire on the SV. Do I SORN it or renew it

Issue that I have is the front tyre needs changing and I can't afford to. If I tax it, I could be tempted to ride it on the odd dry and warmish day over winter. Sod's law I would get pulled with a marginal front tyre on it. Bloody choices.

I had this dilema, mine run out at the end of november.

I taxed it. Like you say if you get a nice day then you want to ride that nice day. Sod the marginal tyre unless the wires are near showing.
