Same here, bike went through the MOT last Thursday, no issues.
Bike had been stood in the garage for 51 weeks until I pulled my finger out and did the bar conversion.
An impressive 51 miles since last MOT and service - tester was giving me plenty of stick. He did comment on the comfortable new riding position though.
Now that the conversions done should be back to year round commuting of 5K plus.
Also changed the oil on Sunday for peace of mind - never seen such clean fresh oil come out of an engine - looked like something you could drizzle over pancakes

Make that three! I just had mine MOT'd and was advised to change the rear tyre. New PR4 GT on.

I've been averaging about 1500 miles a year for the past three years as life takes over. Managed a few more last year with the trip to the GM though.

The bike is now back home in the new garage and not locked up in a storage container, so hopefully a few more rides will now follow.

I really like my boss. I bet not many people say that. Most seemed to hate theirs.

A friend asked if I wanted to go to the V&A to see a photography exhibition. Asked the boss if I could take afternoon off as holiday. His reply was that I should go, no need to take it out of my holiday, do it in work time, as seeing exhibitions will be good experience when we come to put our own on and I'll use visits like these as inspiration. This is why I don't mind putting the extra hours in when required.

Unfortunately the friend is running late because he saw a woman get knocked off her motorbike by a van and he's stayed to give the police a witness statement and assist her.

Changing lanes on the bike as I came up a dual carriageway.
I did all my checks, I indicated, I did the whole lot. As I moved over I caught sight of something moving up on me from my blind spot. This is all at 70mph. YIKES! Small panic as I have change plans fast to stay where I was.

Why's this a smile?

The Great Tits fledged this morning. One of the babies made it to the patio table (all of 20 feet from the nesting box) and sat there looking terrified for ten minutes. A parent enticed it into the hedge and relative safety after a little while. So sweet.
