Our great tits are still frenetically feeding their chicks. We have a bird table with an integral nest box just (2ft) outside our patio doors and we sit on the sofa watching them come and go.

Ours were very noisy by Friday evening and we could see them peeking out so knew the big day was imminent. Seems so quiet by the patio now but the next good news is the sparrows are zooming in and out of the sparrow terrace I put up last year with nesting material. Not sure how many of the three boxes are being readied but it will be nice not having them under the tiles this time.

Exams finished so The Monkey is now home from uni for the summer. Hoorah. We now have a dog sitter so Lady Poppy and I can go out for the day again.
