Default Bar end alternatives?

Hi guys, sorry, bit of a pathetic thing to make a thread about.

I dropped my bike last year and I just have a scuffed bar end left to replace, it's annoying me.

I got a price for an OEM one, £28 + VAT! I figured I'd have a look at aftermarket ones, mainly because £28 seems like a con.

My questions are, am I looking for a particular fitment? Anyone got a link to a respectably priced one/pair?

Cheers.

I managed to refurb mine by stick the bolt through the bar end and then sticking the free end in an electric drill. Switch the drill on and rub surface with emery cloth until smooth again.

Then spray with black gloss or smoothrite.

Depends how bad the scuffing is?

I fitted some R&G ones (before I crashed it - doh!) and they look really nice and I've had some compliments from other SV owners about them. Silver with black ends Ibuliev - I haven't actually looked at my bar ends for ages!! Think they were around the £25 mark.
