Default GMVIII Home Safe

Home safe from the GM. Will be nice to hear the rest of you manage it safely also.

Gutted I'm not on the beers with you tonight!

Many many thanks to Dean for putting the thing together!

Just came on to start the 'Home Safe' Thread, beaten to it !!!!!! LoL

Home safe, thanks to Dean for all his hard work and thanks to everyone for turning up, was a belter of a GM (and that's from someone who couldn't really drink) and best GM ride-out. (Except GMV )

A big thanks to Dean for all his hard work and to the Ecosse boys and girls for making us so welcome. It was a great weekend that was really made by the superb company. Back home about 8. We took the scenic route home and stopped for a pint just before home. Roll on next year.

Got back to Livi at around 4.30pm via South Queensferry.

Richie, I'm sorry i missed you around Creiff, I was a bit concerned about a very empty tank, and didn't see you peel off. Glad you got home ok.

Dean, thanks for an awesome GM, fantastic roads, scenery, mates and craic. I'll be back next year as soon as you post up the thread!!

Got home about a half hour ago after going via Glasgow for a church service, a good chat and paying our respect to an old friend, a late lunch in a favourite Greek Taverna at the back of John Lewis in Glasgow and a visit to the cemetery to check on Dad.

Seriously cracking weekend as usual Dean. Had an awful lot of fun as the not -so -back up vehicle and as Richie, got a few hundred photos to sift through. A really good turn out and an excellent group of people to spend the weekend with.
Very glad to hear Colin was still inflated on the journey home.

You don't get out of the next one Chukka. We'll drag you kicking and screaming

Hi All

Great weekend, thanks Dean!

Yes, 460 miles today and no more pressure lost. Must have needed overnight for the glue to properly set or the plug to bed in.

Left Marc's in Falkirk at 2:45 and got home at 8:20, with stops at Todhill services (good to catch up again Richie!), Wetherby for 1/2 hour, and Colsterworth, so about 5 hours riding time, can't moan at that really.
