I'm slightly biased as it's what I did but the cheapest, strongest and most stock looking way of getting short levers is to just cut the standard ones down! All I did was cut the balls off the ends, cut the levers down to the length I wanted, and then I took the levers and the balls to a local welder and asked them to weld them back on.... It cost me a tenner for both levers. I had to tidy the weld up a little with a file and then some emery paper but you can't even tell it's been done, other than they are shorter......
