Default Re: Slight misfire after 10 year layup

Cheers for the tip!

Pulled the carbs tonight, both screws at approx. 2+1/4 turns
I took the bowls off and think there was a very small blockage in one of the small jets. (larger ones were clear, they are marked 140)

However, when I put the carbs back on the bike is off a cylinder

Guess I'll be taking them off again tomorrow night! Must be a stuck float needle as symptoms would suggest no fuel getting to the rear cylinder.

Was really hoping this was going to be the last time, even went as far as putting a vacuum hose on the front carb throat for balancing them (it's blocked up for now)

Panic over, the temporary fuel tank I was using had a blocked breather

Misfire is now gone, running as sweet as a new one

Now the brakes and MOT!
