gotta be honest Col i was so impressed and had so much fun on Patricks bike i went to the Aprillia Dealership in Bury St.Edmunds to have a closer look at the new RSV & Tuono.
Remember we were commenting on how tidy the weld marks were on Patricks bike.. well not any more i was really appalled at the finished quality of the new bikes...unless any one else can tell me any better. i think his version must have been 1 of the better budgeted versions.

I cant see 1 of the new models lasting me any more than 2 winters...

do you reckon Patrick will trade his for my Zed?

Seems to be the trouble with a lot of modern bikes, standards seem to be slipping to keep down the costs, it's funny you mention this mate but i just read a report in one of the bike mags & the RSV in the age bracket of Patricks came out as one of the best three second hand bikes for british roads, they mentioned about quality & specification etc not being as good on later bikes, i'll have a look at it later & see if they mention better years.

Try looking through Bike Trader, there's loads on their website, there's a real nice yellow & black one with full ohlins suspenders, even has a working speedo.

He might trade with you, depends how much cash you wanted with his bike i suppose.

Count me in matey, if we had time to visit the Wallace Monument too that would be fantastic, don't want to push my luck though, will we be meeting Mark again for the Hartside trip.

I'll tell Amanda to start saving now, she is a good girl.
