Default my insurance renewal

bit funny 1st one i called oh yes mr jones weve got a great quote for you on your 2004 sv650s with 5yrs ncb,21years old for 3pf+t,3points sp60 that are 4.5yrs old with a scorpion exhaust, garaged, with alphadot and a oxford hardcore lock.........£590!! haha i said my renewal quote from my insurers now is £450 so she said just a minute ill see what i can do.....she comes back on the phone we "we can do it for £440" i said do you think id really change companies for a £10 she went away and come back with a figure after speeking to the underwriter of a figure of £354 so i took that price and it comes with all the usual legal cover etc.
so goes to show push them and they will lower it.what a profit margin they must make.
i could have got it to £300 or lower but my insurance runs out 1st thing 00:00 hours and i wanted to go for a ride on my day off 2morra rather than sitting ringing other companies all day which would cost about 15quid on the premium rates

I think every business other there does exactly this. Charge as much as possible/Rip people off as much as possible without x% of people realising you're taking the p155/realising they could pay less elsewhere.

One phone call one my cage renewal saved me £150 (30%)! That paid for this year's bike insurance. Always shop around.

I renewed my insurance today and after clarifying with my company about my license and driving history, they brought my $251 full payment to $192. That's only $16 a month! Pretty good since I am one of those young reckless types.

Nice one. However, most insurance companies 'quote' lines are free or at least local rate.

I rang something like 15 companies last itme i renewed. All where £50 around my renewal price. Anyhoo, was about to give up when i thought id see if the big 5 done bike insurance. The upshot is, that churchill who dont directly do bike insurance, do through an associated company. I ended up paying a £100 less than my renewal, at £117 (then, and £113 now, i really dont think im gonna get lower for another couple of years.
