Default Mileage?

I'm new to this bike, I may get a chance to test ride one tomorrow but I'm wondering what kind of mileage I can expect from a carbed or FI bike with a moderatly agressive throttle hand.

Thanks

Do you mean MPG, or do you mean "how many miles till the thing conks out"?

General consensus is well maintained/non-wheelied engines are good for 100,000+ miles, but by then, a lot of other bits on the bike will have given up the ghost and needed replacing.

100,000miles on one tank of petrol you must really have a gentle right hand

You must have a heavy throttle hand. I get about 135 miles from light flashing to full tank to light flashing if I'm commuting to work (60 roads) or 95 miles if I'm thrashing on a weekend up to Hartside.

Just proving that engine size doesn't influence petrol consumption. Its usage, configuration and drag.

I dont ride like a pansy by the way.
