Default Random beep

...from my laptop? I was viewing my homepage on facebook (don't know if it had owt to do with that, doubt it) and I went to click on something and my laptop uttered a loud-ish BEEP.

Nothing came up on the screen, everything still as normal...any reason as to why it happened?

no a Dell. And usually quite good. It's a bit slow at the minute, needs more RAM lol.

I guess the beep isn't much of a deal, I'm just intrigued as to why it did it, scares me a bit lol.
