Oxford Tailpack
I was in Hein Gericke today getting some bits for servicing the bike and noticed that the Oxford Tailpacks are on offer for £45 at the moment. I was after any reviews on them as in how much they hold in real life and how easy and secure they are on the SV. I have a yellow curvy so would be gettign the yellow tailpack which would come in for AR07 amongst other rides.
Any opinions much appreciated. |

Re: Oxford Tailpack
I've got a Buffalo tailpack which is very good, so I see no reason to believe that the Oxford won't be just as good, as long as it has the same features
See here Buffalo It stays quite secure well into 3 figures I have to admit that these days I prefer a tankbag, but the tailpack always comes in handy |

Re: Oxford Tailpack
I've got an Oxford 'Sports' tank bag that looks very similar to that tail pack there. Used it quite a bit, though not continually. Got no complaints about the construction or quality, it seems very solid.

Re: Oxford Tailpack
I've got a Oxford tankbag which was really handy if going somewhere overnight. Got a baglux now so can't use it.

Re: Oxford Tailpack
Got a tailpack like that. just the job. Quite roomy too.
I liked it so much I bought the tankbag and panniers to go with it.

Re: Oxford Tailpack
I had an oxford tailpack and small tankbag - really hard wearing, did loads of miles packed to the gills in all weathers.
BUT I only paid £20 each for them (at a bike show somewhere) Having said that, the Buffalo kit is pretty good. and don't forget your tea towel to stop tank scratches. |
