Engine got fairly rattly in the 80k sort of area. Presume the piston to bore clearance is a bit baggy by now. Still runs alright, makes reasonable power, uses a bit of oil.

Rest of the bike has had a shedload of work done on it through it's life though.

I bought it at 13,595 miles as a near mint cat D but it was still near knackered. All the calipers seized up and needed rebuilding, rear linkage was in a mess. No surprise like, they all seem like that... but still now it's at telephone number mileage it's more roadworthy than when I started.

apart from anything else,the british climate and gritting the roads takes its toll on our bikes,and we all no just how easy the finish on a suzuki can go down hill

Never had any problem with that, blathered it in ACF50 since first winter I did on it. Nice thick layer of grime, the paint on the engine cases is like new. Bolts come off fine. The problems start with people washing them.

My legs and boots have worn through the anodising on the frame though.
