Arrow sponsored hike in the lakes

Tomorrow morning im setting off to penrith in the lake district, from there i'll be doing a 53.5 mile hike through the lakes to ravenglas, over 4 days.

Im doing this with five friends, its our own idea, and we'll be doing this carrying all our things for 4 days on our backs, tents, sleeping bags, clothes and food.

We've decided to do it for charity's of our own choosing, my charity being Derian House Childrens Hospice

I thought i'd post on here to get some moral support off you guys (some posts wishing me luck!) and if you felt the need you could also sponsor me here: www.justgiving.com/leestarkie

All support very gratefully recieved, thankyou very much

Well moral support i can offer plenty of mate, you guys are doing a grand thing for a great cause - good on ya all.

Sadly after nearly 5 months out of work its the sponsoring bit i'm gonna find though.

But the Org is a generous place at times so i hope someone with a few loose quids in their pockets will be along soon to throw some your way.

If not, then i;m sure they will come along with words of support soon enough

I'm afraid I'm another poor person, but I do wish you the very best of luck

Out of interest, what sort of weight of gear will you be carrying?

Jo

Blimey! Take it easy and remember you have 4 days, so make it an experience to remember, not just a blisterfest

Good luck.
