Apparently in the new world order someone vocalising an opinion you don't agree with within your hearing or actually putting it in writing ( shock horror) is now equivalent to physical assault and battery... No robust debates allowed - its is just too painful and distressing.

You can even object if you hear something you consider distressing being discussed between consenting adults that you overhear but is nothing to do with you....

3) The polarisation of the country has hit our forum.

(I don't think my sarcastic opinion of Jacob Rees Mogg and BoJo helped either )
I'm sorry Othen left, I'd have preferred a mocking comeback...

I'm sorry Othen left too. I did drop him a PM but he's feels that politics doesn't belong on a bike forum.

Unfortunately politics affects everyone, even bikers.

Debate is good even if you don't like what the other person is saying, how else can you influence their thoughts.

As for this being a bike only forum, well I think it's more than that. There's a big range of topics discussed on here and a great sharing of ideas and knowledge.

It's a shame that a knowledgeable guy has left the forum but I don't see much logic from someone who thinks politics doesn't belong on a bike forum and then posts this ....

This motorcycling forum seems to have strayed into left wing politics. In that case let’s level things up by saying that this country now has a strong and charismatic leader, which is just what we need.

Hurrah!

To post such comments on any open internet forum these days and not expect a reaction, argument, abuse or trolling is naive in the extreme.
We move on ...
