I took that pairing out to China a couple of years ago. Works well.
The lens also makes the XD5 very compact too.

Found a better pairing for the 45mm





Only down side is the lens has what looks to be a very small patch of fungus inside the front element. Seeing as its sealed there isn't anything I can do to clean. Will keep an eye on it.
