Default Lower Fairings

I have a 2008 SV650S and the lower fairings are missing something to attach it but the schematics don't show it anymore. I believe there is something that attached to the motor mount bolt and I'm wondering if something also attaches to the radiator? If anyone has pictures that would be great. Thanks in advance.

i take it you dont have any lower fairing mounting hardware on at the moment. if so then your going to find it difficult and expensive to mount your fairings properly. lower fairing mounting kits/parts are like hens teeth.

there are basically three parts. the main L brackets that attach to the frame. the lower corner brackets that attach to a bolt at the lower corner mounting of the engine and the radiator brackets. fortunately you can substitute the main frame brackets with R&G crash bungs but they are expensive. the other two can be made from U shaped flat bar.

I bought lower fairings for mine then went looking for the brackets. Suzuki cant get them anymore but I did find some old stock new kits online they was close to £200 so decided to keep half naked.
my bike does have a couple of brackets one on the side stand and one the opposite side. they do look like parts of the kit and line up with the fairing holes. I think mine at one point had the full fairing. I did do a rough fab to secure the fairing to the radiator but I mean rough but it did fit. if your going for the main frame r&g bungs then maybe the bits I have might be able to help you out.

Radiator brackets - that happen to be sat on my desk as they need the sheared off bolts removed. Don't use ****e Ali bolts like I did.

When I got my bike the previous owner must have fitted the fairings, they were attached with these and the piece of **** banana mount. They now have R&G crash bungs.
That was all, no mounts at the bottom. They stayed like this for 3 years with no ill effect.
Until a kindly gent who happened to work on my bike after it was kidnapped by the insurance company fitted some he had in his tool box!
What are the chances.
