1 man tent
Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a 1 man tent to give flexibility when going on rides and also for those bevvied up nights when I end up sleeping in mate's gardens I want a 1 man tent that's as small as possible so I can bungee it to the bike and the best I've found so far is this one; http://www.worldoftents.co.uk/aztec-...l?currency=GBP Which is only 1.6kg and folds up to 40cm x 10cm x 10cm. Anyone got or know of anything similar / better? Cheers, Matt |

Looks ok to me, but don't expect it to be roomy.

Re: 1 man tent
Better off going for a double skin tent, will be better at staying dry when the weathers not good. If you want a one man tent, better of going for a full 2-man tent, they tend to be on the small side anyway. A 2-man tent will prob only give you just enough room for you and your kit.
Have a lok at some of the Coleman stuff. You can pick up a decent 2-man, double skin for less than a ton. They still pack down small and dont weigh that much. Dave. |

Re: 1 man tent
You wont get better value than this!
I bought two on ebay last week. My mate has the same tent, which i have slept in. Double skinned, so wind and waterproof! £27.50, which includes two sleeping bags and padded mattresses. Mine arrived yesterday in the post. Well chuffed! Heres the ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWN:IT&ih=011 |

Re: 1 man tent
All I'll say is that you get what you pay for............
Most of those festival tents get left behind at the end of the weekend. Get a quality tent and it will look after you for years.

Re: 1 man tent
This is probably truer for tents than most stuff. My oldest tent is a Vaude Space 2 and it cost me £180 about 16 years ago. Still waterproof and still got plenty of life left in it.
