I had a recce to the brewery today. Lovely place, nice and simple and the owner is happy with the idea of a load of bikers turning up.

The beer is £2 per bottle or six for £11.

Not tried it yet, after the ride home I think it may be a bit, um, lively?

The ride will include the A483 from Newtown to Crossgates - awesome road! (PS, sorry Mr Kawasaki 600 rider, I didn't mean to embarrass you, I'm sure you had a mechanical reason why you couldn't keep up! shame......)

Anyhoo!

I'll try and work out a date or two, It'll be a Saturday, they don't often open on Sundays.

You big bully, pick on someone your own cc!!!!!!!!

Awesome road but not nice summer weekends cos too many misjudge the bends and run wide.

He was funny, caught him up, watched him get raggy trying to drop me, then cruised past on a nice sweeping bend. Turn the wick up, disappear and giggle quietly to myself

As for the road, I can see how people come a cropper. The bends look so fast, yet they have some nasty kinks. Some are really open and are very fast, the next, tight and nasty - just how I like it!

Remember the A44 being shut on the Marches Meander ride? And the coincidence of the bike cop being someone both Neil and I knew from GMP?

That set of bends must have more crashes than most.

PS, nearly stopped at yours Ed, but had to get home to cook tea and after visiting Dad near Leominster, I ran out of time so had a mega blast up the A49. Didn't exceed the limit though. Promise

Poll added, so get voting.

The plan willl be get a group together up here in the North West, go to the brewery and then come home. Not complicated!

Those further South, if you would like to meet up at the brewery and join some of the southern leg of the ride, or hop on board somewhere, please feel free. It's not going to be a huge ride, just a good set of roads at your own pace.

Get voting!

Egg run's on the 17th April so doing the 16th and 17th would be out for me - My lovely wife would take exception to that me thinks. Any others should be fine I think at the mo.
