K5 Pointy Lower Fairing & Crash Bungs
Hi All!
New to forum. Have to say forum is excelent with useful tips and info etc. Anyway..... Got a red K5 pointy, new since Nov 05. First bike, well impressed! Just a couple of Q's I after a bit of help / advice with. I'm after a genuine set of lowers from Suzuki. Been to my dealer who has quoted a price of £384 without fitting, plus £90 for a set of R&G bungs. Been quoted approx £50 for fitting. Anyone one know of a cheaper place to buy? Can you buy direct from Suzuki (save collecting them from dealer!) For a novice, are they easy to fit, as I'm pretty reluctant (OK tight! ) to pay a nifty for fitting? |

got to be honest here and say that there is really no need to pay for the fitting. i have both the offical lowers and r&g's. cant say it took me more then an hour to do both. save yourself the cash!!

cheers for that, the reason I asked, is that the dealer mentioned something about having to cut the fairing??!
Don't fancy cutting painted plastic worth several hundred quid. Could turn out to be an expensive error!! |

Talk nice to your dealer.
If you bought the bike off him and are buying lowers the least he can do is fit em free. Welcome to the site BTW. |

welcome,
if fitting is free let them do it, if not do it yourself, r&g's might not need the lowers cutting, depends if you get the new variation |
