Default Was Copenhagen a success?

The cynic in me sees a newspaper banner headline and immediately switches off. However, the article in the Guardian made for very interesting reading.

As expected the economically developing nations, some not all, had a vested interest in seeing no end to their current production methods.

Interesting article and no doubt some truth in it.But we are all Human and will therefore look out for ourselves in the usual selfish manner.China is no different to how we have behaved for centuries.
Just to put a slightly different line-------China has had a relatively effective policy of population control for thirty years and will actually be overtaken by India in total numbers soon.Perhaps that is the only true way to save the planet from what will ultimately destroy it----Us.

I love how they imported Limousines from Germany as Denmark didn't have enough. All so they could transport the top dogs to a conference on climate change - brilliant!

Im with biker biggles, over population is a massive contributing factor, people need to stop breeding for the sake of it, have 1 or 2 children.

Trouble is, look at the numbers in this country for teenage pregnancies etc- the most prolific breeders aren't exactly putting great things into the gene pool and how are you going to stop them?

After all, it pays for itself in the welfare game...

Have we yet proved that climate change is a man-made thing?
