Got a new bike tyre fitted to replace the punctured one. Driving home with the wheel in the boot, I clipped a curb and burst the sidewall on my car tyre...

Ah but with the temperature in Turkey pushing 40, you need a nice clean pool to keep cool. Unfortunately, I'm back in the UK with similar temperatures and no pool. I've left the other half in Turkey to sort it out.

spaznavs that have twisty route option. fek right off. this now means that a lot of my favourite single track roads that nobody ever goes on are now going to be less fun due to the increase of other bikers riding like headless chickens. i hope its just a fad.

Ha ha! I don't use satnav but it doesn't mean your back roads are safe from me I'm afraid Lance. I use a mix of 1:25000 and walking maps, and Google earth to find all the little roads as they're my favourites too.

This. See my post from today in the Smile thread. I was pleased I can now use my car's nav properly on the bike but the super twisty route option was a nightmare. I was hardly a headless chicken though, more of a worried/clenched townie concerned about the gravel and horse doo doos that were on so many of the glorified farm tracks it took me down.

He he, not up in Scotland very often, but the little back roads are just what I like! I promise not to bring hordes of other people with me though
